A EXPOSALÃO promove, nos dias 15 e 16 de Dezembro de 2007, a Exposição ANIMAIS DE COMPANHIA, juntamente com a Exposição Internacional Canina da Batalha, a Exposição Internacional de Gatos da Batalha, a Aquadecor – Feira de Aquariofilia, a Exposição de Aves, a Exposição de Terrariofilia e a Exposição de Roedores.
Numa área total de 16.000m2, vão estar em exposição cães, gatos, peixes, aves, roedores, animais exóticos e répteis, bem como produtos e serviços de alimentação, bem-estar e higiene animal, para que os visitantes deste certame encontrem, num espaço único, tudo para os seus animais de estimação.
Haverá ainda lugar para diversas actividades, como apresentações, provas, colóquios e workshops, apresentação de projectos inovadores, venda de ninhadas, nos quais as grandes estrelas vão ser os animais.
Este evento, que em 2006 recebeu o prémio de melhor exposição canina nacional, conta, pelo quarto ano consecutivo, com o patrocínio oficial da Royal Canin.

Os visitantes vão ter ainda a oportunidade de assistir às Provas de Agility e Demonstrações de Guarda e Obediência, a cargo da Organização Associativa Cinotécnica de Busca e Salvamento.

ONCOLOGISCH TREFFEN 2008 Gastro-intestinal tumours: INSIDE OUT! Peri-anal tumours, a stomach tumor, a pancreatic tumour, spleen and liver tumours.. We all see them regularly. But what is the best way to approach and treat these types of tumours? In the past few years a lot of research has been done in the area of oncology and many new diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities submerged. I you want get be up-to-date: On the 9th and 10th February 2008 the third ONCOlogisch Treffen will take place in the conference hotel Kontakt der Kontinenten in Soesterberg, the Netherlands. Soesterberg is a city near Utrecht that excels because of its beauty. The organization responsible for this very interesting yearly conference on oncology, the Joint Veterinary Cancer Clinics (SDK), is again able to present a very interesting program. Diagnostics, staging and (surgical and non-surgical) treatment will be presented by internationally respected speakers such as: Prof. Dr. Dominique Penninck (USA), Prof. Dr. David Argyle (UK), Dr. Malcolm Brearley (UK), Dr. Evert van Garderen (NL) en Prof. Dr. Paolo Buracco (IT). They give you a extensive overview of gastro-intestinal tumours and will turn them inside out!! Each year the organization invites a well known key-note lecturer. Iranian Veterinary Surgery Association (IVSA) in cooperation with Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman has planned to organize the 2nd ISVS (International Symposium of Veterinary Surgery), and the 7th ISVSAR (Iranian Symposium of Veterinary Surgery, Anesthesia and Radiology) on 21-24 April 2008 at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Kerman, Iran. During the four days symposium sessions, Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopedics (including Lameness), Anesthesia, Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology, Sonography, CT scanning, MRI) and related subjects such as Clinical Pathology, Obstetrics and Genital Diseases, Internal Medicine, Surgical Pathology, Applied Anatomy,... are the main streams of the symposium. International basic wet labs for small animal veterinarians. Two-day course with several wet labs.
Basic course: no prior knowledge required. The objective of this course is to become familiar with the instrumentation for small animal arthroscopy. The techniques for elbow and shoulder arthroscopy are instructed and practiced intensively during several wet labs.
